THE WITNESS TEAM

Our Witness Team Ministry is a suite of ministries that exist for the purpose of giving attention to developing and strengthening evangelistic efforts of sharing of personal and congregational stories of Christian experience, faith, and service; communications; Lay Servant Ministries; and other means that give expressions of witness for Jesus.

Presently our Witness Team Ministry is made up of Media and Community Engagement; Membership; Lay Speaking/Servant Ministry; Hospitality; and Creation Care.

Media and Community Engagement Ministry

The Media and Community Engagement Ministry spreads the message of God’s love beyond the church walls. Through social media, photography, video, and public relations, we share the life and mission of Wesley UMC with the broader community, inviting others to connect, worship, and serve with us.

Membership Ministry

Membership Ministry focuses on nurturing belonging. This ministry welcomes new members into the Wesley family and helps them find their place in ministry. From orientation to spiritual growth opportunities, we walk alongside each member as they deepen their faith and commitment to Christ’s work.

Lay Speaking/Servant Ministry

The Lay Speaking/Servant Ministry empowers laypersons to serve, lead, and proclaim the Word of God, this ministry provides training and opportunities for members to share their gifts in worship, teaching, outreach, and community service—living out the call to be the hands and voice of Christ.
